casey's birthday

Olivia has a friend named Casey at her school. They have an odd relationship. 

Casey lives is a very cool house with a nice big backyard. They had a little pool, regular pool and rented a HUGE water slide. The kids were exhausted at the end of the party. Of course Kyle and I had to try out the slide too.

bowling

Kyle took the afternoon off and we went bowling. Kyle tested out some new techniques. 

father's day

We had a nice little Father's Day. Olivia gave Kyle a huge pile of presents (most of which are going back to the store) but of course his favorite are the presents Livi made.

hailey's birthday

Today we went to Hailey's Frozen birthday party. 

Hailey and Livi tried to freeze Kyle with their frozen powers. And as usual, Kyle was the only dad in the bouce house.

santa monica

Last night I asked Olivia what she wanted to do today and she said she wanted to go to the beach. Kyle had been talking about going to the beach so I thought it was perfect. We decided to go to the Santa Monica pier because I knew none of us were going in the water and would need something else to do.

We haven't been in sand since Kyle got his leg so I wrapped it in plastic wrap and blue tape. 

Kyle had to test out running in the sand, which is hard with 2 regular legs!

Years ago when I was thinking about how to design the backyard I had a vision of a kid(s) on roller skates weaving around on paths. Watching Kyle and Olivia scooter was pretty cute.
