olivia's birthday

Each year we have a picture of Kyle with Olivia on his shoulders holding the number of balloons as she is old. I wasn't thrilled with this idea, but knew Kyle would do it anyway so of course I had to get the camera ready.

I thought it would be months with a new leg before Kyle was able to attempt to play golf, I was wrong.

Today Olivia and I went to visit Kyle in the hospital. This age is so awesome because Olivia doesn't care that her daddy doesn't have part of his leg, she just loves him.

The last thing Kyle wanted to do before surgery was pick out a tree with Olivia. The tumor hurt so badly Kyle couldn't walk (more than hopping a few feet in pain). This is how we got the tree to the car.
