ice skating

At Olivia's school auction we bought coupons for free pizzas at Blaze Pizza and ice skating passes with skate rentals which after we bought realized they expire May 31st. It sounded like it would be a fun family outing. 

 Apparently it was a horrible idea for Kyle to attempt to skate. He stepped on the ice and knew it was going to be bad. I expected him to walk away and just watch me and Olivia but he stuck with it and did pretty well. We made it around the rink once (took about half an hour) and we were done.

ed's house

I worked a wedding at the church on Saturday and assisted at Descanso on Sunday. While I worked, Kyle and Olivia went to Ed's house to scooter, swim and play. They had so much fun Saturday they went back Sunday.

Olivia got a new scooter and Kyle decided he wanted one too so they could go together. I told him to slow down and not immediately buy one but borrow one first. Luckily my co-worker had one in her garage and I picked it up the next day. Kyle comes home in his work clothes and starts testing it out in the house. I yell, "No scootering in the house!" He asked why. I said, because it sounds like something I should say. So off they went around the block on scooters. 

california adventure

Our awesome neighbor Sharon has the hook up to Disneyland and California Adventure so she met up there and got us in free which is super awesome. It was reallllly hot and we all weren't in the best of moods but still had fun.

Kyle and Olivia are crazy and loved the swing ride.

Olivia realllly wanted to go on the ferris wheel. I didn't think it looked too bad...I HATED it. My palms were so sweaty and my heart was racing.

The Cars ride was so much fun!

Hard to tell what this is a picture of but Kyle broke his leg. He just plays too hard.

Today I had to go to work and Kyle wanted to get work done too so Olivia and I dropped Kyle off downtown then went to the church. When we were done, we went to Mumsie's house to swim.
